Understanding IndieWrist product information

IndieWrist carries a broad assortment of fashion watches, and specifications can vary significantly from one style to another. The individual product page is the primary source for materials, dimensions, movement, strap or bracelet details and other technical information for a specific watch.

Vintage-inspired does not mean antique

Terms such as vintage-inspired, retro, Art Deco-inspired, tank-inspired, heritage-style or similar wording describe the visual direction of a product. They do not by themselves mean that a watch is antique, pre-owned, historically vintage, made by another watchmaker, or connected with any third-party brand.

Materials

Case, bracelet, strap, crystal and decorative materials vary by model. Do not assume a material used on one IndieWrist watch applies to another. Where a product listing identifies a specific material, that listing applies to that product.

Natural and visual variation

Where a product uses materials or finishes that naturally vary, small differences in pattern, tone or appearance may occur. Photography, studio lighting, ambient light and device display settings can also affect how colours appear on screen.

Dimensions & fit

Measurements should be taken from the individual product page where available. Case shape affects perceived size: an elongated rectangle, tonneau or sculptural case can look different on the wrist from a round case with a similar width. See our Size & Fit Guide.

Water resistance

Never assume a watch is water resistant unless the individual product page expressly states a water-resistance specification. If no rating is stated, keep the watch away from water, steam and prolonged high humidity.

Batteries and movements

Movement type and battery requirements vary by model. Follow the information stated for the individual product. A battery is a consumable component and eventual battery replacement is normal for battery-powered watches.

Care

Cosmetics, perfume, perspiration, chemicals, repeated friction, impact and moisture can affect straps, coatings, finishes, crystals and other components over time. Read our Watch Care Guide and 3-Year Limited Warranty for further information.
