3-Year Limited Warranty

Three years of limited warranty coverage

IndieWrist provides a 3-Year Limited Warranty on eligible watches purchased directly from IndieWrist. The warranty period begins on the date the order is delivered and is intended to cover qualifying manufacturing defects that become apparent during normal, intended use.

This warranty is offered in addition to any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

What the limited warranty covers

Subject to the exclusions and claim requirements below, the warranty may cover defects in the watch movement or timekeeping mechanism and material or workmanship failures that are attributable to manufacturing rather than wear, impact, misuse or external conditions.

Because specifications vary by model, any product-specific warranty information or technical specification shown on the product page forms part of the assessment of a claim.

What the limited warranty does not cover

To the extent permitted by law, the limited warranty does not cover normal wear and ageing; battery depletion or routine battery replacement; cosmetic scratches or marks arising after delivery; ordinary wear to leather, leather-look, fabric or other straps; normal bracelet wear; damage to crystals caused by scratching, impact or chipping; plating, coating, finish or colour changes caused by wear, friction, perspiration, cosmetics, perfume, chemicals or environmental exposure; accidental damage; drops, crushing or impact; misuse or use contrary to product instructions; loss or theft; damage caused by strong magnetic fields; damage caused by incorrect bracelet or strap adjustment; or damage caused by unauthorized opening, repair, alteration or modification.

Water or moisture damage is not covered unless the individual product listing expressly states a water-resistance specification and the claimed damage occurred despite use within that stated specification and any accompanying limitations. If no water-resistance rating is stated on the product page, the watch should be treated as not water resistant.

Changes in appearance that are consistent with normal use, personal fit preferences, or differences in colour caused by lighting or screen settings are not manufacturing defects.

How to make a warranty claim

Email hayesaura@outlook.com with your order number, the product name, a clear description of the issue, and clear photographs or video where useful. We may request additional information or require the watch to be returned for inspection before determining whether the claim qualifies.

Please do not arrange unauthorized repair work before we have assessed the claim. Unauthorized opening or repair can make it impossible to determine the original cause of a problem and may affect warranty eligibility to the extent permitted by law.

Warranty remedy

Where a claim is accepted, IndieWrist may, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, repair the product, replace it with the same or a reasonably comparable product, or provide another remedy required by applicable law. A particular remedy is not guaranteed before the claim has been assessed.

Return, inspection and shipping arrangements depend on the circumstances of the claim and applicable law. We will provide instructions after reviewing the initial information.

Proof of purchase

The warranty is intended for the original retail purchase from IndieWrist and proof of purchase may be required. Nothing in this clause limits any transferability or consumer right that applicable law requires us to recognize.

Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or restricted. Where mandatory law provides stronger protection, that law applies.
